Being established in 1940 Tangala is entrenched in the history of the region. In 2016, the safari camp underwent a renovation that saw the introduction to 6 new luxury colonial tents. A major addition was the transition to an eco-friendly approach to the operation of the safari camp.
An intimate and personal experience awaits you at Tangala Safari Camp which is located in the heart of the world renowned Thornybush big 5 Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger Park.
The camp boasts sweeping views overlooking an expansive and active waterhole, with the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range forming a breath taking backdrop.
